FML Plumbing & Civil is a commercial plumbing company offering a diverse range of commercial plumbing and drainage services from backflow prevention through to major plant works. They run a crew of 11 who work on medium scale projects in SE Qld, and the company use simPRO to manage their jobs.
James Lynch, the Director of FML Plumbing & Civil, was looking for a way of streamlining their time tracking for their jobs and decided to trial TSheets. After finding that TSheets was what they were looking for, James looked for a way to link it to simPRO and a google search lead him to SyncEzy.
Prior to looking for a better solution, the time tracking process used by FML Plumbing & Civil consisted of an excel template that was completed manually on a computer and emailed, or printed, filled out, photographed and texted to the managers each week, when it was approved and then manually entered into simPRO and Xero, for payroll. This process would take hours, and wasn’t always done in its entirety when time was poor.
When James made the decision to implement TSheets and SyncEzy, he was looking forward to being able to rely on accurate and immediate labour costs in simPRO – something that had definitely been lacking!
The transition was smooth, and only took two weeks from the initial trial to having the entire system up and running.
