About this webinar
It’s 6:30am and the concrete trucks are booked for seven. The site engineer, carefully prepping, asks the company’s AI to confirm the reinforcement spacing for the level 3 slab.
The AI comes back in seconds, quoting the drawing in SharePoint.
But this engineer has read far too many scenarios where AI was hallucinating a seemingly correct answer. He checks the link, sees that it’s correct, and continues with his day, happy to have an AI answer that was fast, confident…
And unfortunately, dead wrong.
What the AI couldn’t see was the revision the structural engineer issued on Friday afternoon. That went into Procore, and the SharePoint copy is still last week’s.
That’s not a rare event. Most construction teams running Procore and SharePoint have the same underlying problem: two document systems that don’t agree with each other.
-
Someone downloads a file, edits it and re-uploads it, or saves it to their desktop on site.
-
RFIs sit in one system and the marked-up drawings they refer to sit in the other.
-
Ask where the latest revision of a spec lives and the honest answer is often “it depends on the project,” which really means it depends on who you ask.
This was costing time long before AI arrived. But AI raises that cost.
Before, it might take days to find the right data, but at least it was correct. Now, you have to deal with getting the wrong answer, faster, and never knowing until it’s too late.
The question is: is your business AI ready? Does it have all its data ducks in a row? Because no matter how advanced technology becomes, it can only work with what it’s given.
This session is a practical way to find out how big this problem is in your business. Over 45 minutes we’ll work through five questions drawn from our own conversations with construction teams running Procore and SharePoint. You’ll score yourself as we go, so you know where your project documents stand before you rely on AI to read them.
What we’ll walk through
-
One source of truth: does the current version of every project document live somewhere your AI can see, and only there?
-
Version integrity: if a file changes in Procore and SharePoint before the next sync, which version wins, and can you recover the other?
-
Structure and naming: would a stranger, or an AI, know where things go across your projects?
-
Completeness of the record: are RFIs and inspections stored with their attachments and test results, or only the conversation around them?
-
Resilience and recovery: if 500 files vanished tonight, when would you find out, and could you undo it?
-
What good looks like without a data project: a short live look at how a Procore and SharePoint sync takes care of all five automatically, with no separate clean-up project.
-
Live Q&A
What you’ll leave with
-
Your AI readiness score across all five dimensions
-
A clear view of which weak spots to fix first
Who should attend
Project managers, document controllers, IT and digital leaders, and operations leaders in construction businesses running Procore alongside SharePoint and Microsoft 365. It’s especially useful if AI is on your roadmap, if Copilot is already switched on, or if your honest answer to “where does the latest revision live?” is “it depends on the project.”
