Our simPRO TSheets integration automatically creates jobs in TSheets, when a Job is created in simPRO. Normally the TSheets jobs are created as per these settings
Job Number | Customer Name | Site Address
However this can be customized by default in the system or it can be changed on a case by case basis, manually in TSheets. Here’s how you can rename the jobs in TSheets without actually affecting the integration.
The SyncEzy Integration only needs the highlighted text in red to make sure the timesheets can go back from TSheets to simPRO. To edit the jobs in TSheets follow the steps in screenshots below
To start with Go to the Jobs area in TSheets and edit the job. See steps 1 & 2.
Edit the name without changing anything left of the JXXX is used by the integration to send Timesheets back
Edit the name without changing anything left of the “|”. JXXX is used by the integration to send Timesheets back.
This way you can change the name of a job only in TSheets without changing it for all jobs.
** Be warned, Here be DRAGONS, DO NOT CHANGE anything left of the “|”. JXXX is used by the integration to send Timesheets back.
