Do you spend a lot of time doing manual data entry? Perhaps you’re manually creating an invoice by looking at your Opportunity field by field. Or are you spending time manually associating your Accounts with your Contacts? You are probably a busy person and busy people need to maximise their time efficiency.
Why put so many hours into manual labour when you can automate many of your processes? What if I told you that with a click of a couple of buttons, you can populate your invoice with the customer’s details and the billing amount without having to do any manual entry? What if I told you that you can have email templates that can automatically fetch information from your Leads or Opportunities and you simply need to press the “Send” button?
You can absolutely achieve that and more with Zoho’s Workflow Rules. You can streamline your business processes and segregate them by stages using Blueprints.
Any automations that are not so straightforward can be achieved by programming custom functions. You don’t need to be a programmer or a Zoho expert to do this.
Here at SyncEzy, no integration is too much to ask and no task is too complex for us. Your customisations and integrations don’t have to be limited to Zoho alone, we can also help you integrate any other third party platforms that you use. We are familiar with not only Zoho but many other platform integrations.
So stop wasting time on work that can be achieved in seconds or minutes by automation. Look no further and let us help you make your time and effort more valuable!
Example 1: Adding a custom button CRM Records
In the above image, there are two custom buttons configured for the Lead: Send to Zoho Sign and Send SMS. These are not default features in Zoho CRM. Instead, it was configured for ease of sending over a document to be signed or an SMS to a customer. The functions behind the button also capture the details from the Lead. So we don’t need to manually draft an SMS or manually put the Lead details in a document.
There are many configurations that can be achieved using Custom Buttons, no matter the complexity of the requirement.
Example 2: Automated Workflow Rules
Zoho CRM has provisions for automated workflow rules as well. It is a built-in feature which can trigger many kinds of workflows. In the above image, the “Tag” field gets updated and when it is updated with the value “New Infusionsoft Lead”, it will trigger an email notification and a webhook.
The webhook is a program which will automatically create a new Lead in a completely different platform, eg Infusionsoft. All we had to was set up a workflow rule with actions. Not only can it trigger internal changes within Zoho but it can also link to other platforms. There is more than one way to connect external apps to Zoho.
